Description
Evocative shin-hanga (新版画) woodblock print of horizontal large oban (大判) format, made by the artist Yoshida Toshi (吉田遠志) and entitled “Mount Fuji in Winter from Izu Nagaoka” (伊豆長岡 冬の富士).
The work, originally published in 1962, is presented here in a later edition made, as we read in the seal on the back, by the printer Numabe Shinkichi (沼辺伸吉) of the Yoshida Studio (吉田スタジオ).
The print on Japanese washi paper (和紙) is in very good condition.
